I am a Colorado native, and grew up in Lakewood. After graduating from CSU, I worked for about 4 years as an in-patient OT treating acute care patients. I was able to transition to treating hand therapy patients and became a certified Hand Therapist in 1992. I served my profession for a few years as secretary of the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado, (OTAC). I began my training in Myofascial Release in 1998. In 2000 I had our first child and became a mostly stay at home mom, working on call in the hand therapy world for the last 11 years. Myofascial Release treatment was incorporated into much of my treatment of hand therapy patients.Recently I was fortunate enough to meet Lorie Legatski, OTR the owner of Therapeutic Relief, who has provided further training and opportunity to work in the Myofascial Release treatment realm. I am pleased to be offering Friday appointments, and covering for Lorie when she is able to take time off.
