About Me:

I’m an outdoor enthusiast from Australia who now lives near Denver, Colorado. I trained and worked in physiotherapy in Sydney, Australia, before moving to the US to pursue my life-long passion for skiing. After spending a few years as a ski Patroller in Steamboat Springs, I returned to the practice of Physical Therapy in 1987. Many years later, having experienced the limitations of the traditional medical model as both patient and practitioner, I began to explore a more balanced body/mind approach to health, fitness and rehabilitation. This lead me to studying The Pilates Method, where I discovered an amazing teaching and treatment system, which opened a whole new world of possibilities. Over the last decade, I’ve developed a unique therapeutic program that focuses patient awareness, movement understanding, the latest research in brain science, and imagery, to restore balance to the whole body for natural healing. This process of finding new and improved ways to facilitate the healing process resulted the opening of Park Meadows Pilates & Physical Therapy in January, 2005. I enjoy spending time in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, hanging out with my dog, Princess Leia, and traveling to new places with my husband and two amazing “boys”.
