Class Descriptions

Note To New Clients

You must complete our Movement Screening before attending classes. You may also need to complete a Getting Started Package.  This helps us place you in the classes that are best suited for your current abilities so you can progress in the most optimal way for you.

Pilates Fundamentals

You need a movement Screening Score of 18 or more is necesary to be in this level
This class is designed to explore the basic principles of core strength, control and adaptability. You will improve skills in all areas of function and master the fundamentals of Pilates faster and more easily. Clients will enjoy the use of a variety of Pilates equipment such as the reformer, mat, and small props.

Combo 1 and Reformer 1 Classes

You need a movement Screening Score of 25 or more is necesary to be in this level
This class explores Pilates principles and helps you gain more understanding of your body. Level 1 classes are paced slowly enough to allow time for learning integrated body movements. Combo Classes combine Mat and Reformer. Reformer classes are all on the Reformer.

Combo 2 and Reformer 2 Classes

You need a movement Screening Score of 32 or more is necesary to be in this level
This class builds on the Pilates principles from Combo 1 and Reformer 1 and helps you integrate more complex movements. You will be challenged by the precision, concentration, rhythm and flow of whole-body movement in a faster-paced setting using the Reformer.  Combo Classes combine Mat and Reformer. Reformer classes are all on the Reformer.

Reformer 3 Classes

You need a movement Screening Score of 38 or more is necesary to be in this level
This class is a well-balanced, body-mind workout using the versatile Studio Reformers. This class will challenge anyone from the casual exerciser to cross-training athletes.  This class is not appropriate if you have low bone density, Osteoporosis or back pain. Please talk to one of our instructors  to make sure this level is appropriate for you.

Jumpboard/Reformer/

You need a movement Screening Score of 38 or more is necesary to be in this level
Jump board is a fun way to elevate the heart rate, while challenging the core, balance and coordination. This is
20-25 minute routine incorporated into a reformer class described above.

Mat Pilates

– You need a movement Screening Score of 25 or more is necesary to be in this level
The Pilates mat repertoire is the original exercise program designed by Joseph Pilates, and designed to give you a total body workout. Contrary to popular belief, mat is more difficult than Reformer. some mat classes us props .  The variety in this class will keep you on your toes as you strengthen and tone your core, hips, thighs and arms. You must complete a “Getting Started” package or get instructor clearance before attending this class.
